Welcome to Mingful (知命). These Terms govern your access to and use of the Mingful website, mobile experience, and related services (the "Service"), operated from Hong Kong. By creating an account or using any feature of the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Mingful produces personalised readings that combine traditional Chinese metaphysical practices — face reading (面相), BaZi (八字), Iron Plate Divination (鐵板神數), compatibility, single-question inquiries, and annual outlooks — with contemporary AI assistance. 2. All content delivered by the Service is provided **for cultural reference and personal reflection**. It is **not** medical, legal, financial, psychological, employment, or relationship advice, and must not be treated as the sole basis for any significant decision. 3. The Service evolves. Features may be added, altered, or retired. Mingful reserves final interpretive authority over the scope of the Service.

1. You must be at least eighteen (18) years old to purchase any paid reading. Users below that age require verifiable parental consent. 2. You must register with accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. 3. Accounts are personal. Do not transfer, lend, or share them. 4. You agree not to: - upload another person's photograph without their consent; - scrape, republish, or bulk-extract Service content; - use readings for commercial divination practice, resale, or media redistribution; - do anything unlawful under Hong Kong law or infringing third-party rights.

1. Prices, currencies and offers are shown at checkout and in the payment confirmation. App Store and Google Play display prices for your storefront region; prices may differ between regions and payment channels. 2. Digital purchases within the iOS app use Apple App Store billing; digital purchases within the Android app use Google Play billing. Website payment methods are shown at checkout and include cards and Apple Pay through Stripe, and Alipay and WeChat Pay through Airwallex. 3. Premium offers automatically renewing monthly and annual plans. After onboarding, Today, Chart and Ask require an active Premium subscription or trial. Books and account settings remain accessible. Books are purchased individually; a subscription does not include every book. 4. Eligible customers may receive a seven-day free trial, subject to the store's confirmation of eligibility and duration. Unless cancelled under the store's rules, the trial converts to the first paid period at the amount shown in the confirmation, followed by monthly or annual automatic renewals. Customers without a free trial pay at the time and price shown by the store. 5. We’ll remind you 3 days before your trial ends, so you can cancel before you’re charged. We send this reminder to your verified email address, with an optional push reminder if you enable notifications. A reminder does not cancel your subscription; check the renewal time in your store account. Cancel an Apple free or discounted trial at least 24 hours before it ends; cancel a Google Play trial before it ends. 6. Manage or cancel through the store used for purchase: [Apple subscriptions](https://support.apple.com/en-us/118428) or [Google Play subscriptions](https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/7018481?hl=en). The store shows when access ends after cancellation. Deleting the app or your Mingful account does not cancel a store subscription. 7. After payment verification and generation, a book is added to the Mingful account used for purchase. Each purchase buys one book, not unlimited future generation. **Individually purchased books remain accessible after Premium ends**, through the same account, except where the purchase is refunded or revoked, or the account is deleted. 8. If a five-day launch offer is available, its single 120-hour window is shared by all customers and does not restart on registration or reinstallation. The 30% subscription discount applies only to the first paid month or year of an eligible subscription, after the free trial; later renewals use the regular price. Each eligible book purchase during the campaign may receive a separate 30% discount, including on the applicable member or trial-member price. Final amounts depend on available store prices and the confirmation shown. Apple offers requiring a code take effect only after redemption and store confirmation. Purchase pages show eligibility, the closing time and any additional offer terms.

See our [Refund Policy](/refund). For website reading purchases, unopened readings may be refunded within 7 days; opened readings are non-refundable. App Store and Google Play purchases, including subscriptions and books, follow the respective store's refund process and applicable rules. Cancelling renewal is not a refund. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under applicable consumer law.

1. The Mingful brand, trademarks, interface, layouts, illustrations, seal designs, typography, code, and static assets are owned by Mingful or its licensors. 2. The text of your reading is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial cultural reference and informal sharing. You may not upload readings in bulk to public datasets, use them as training data, or resell them. 3. You retain ownership of the photographs and birth details you upload. You grant Mingful the minimum rights needed to operate the Service for you.

1. Metaphysical interpretation is probabilistic and cultural. **No outcome is guaranteed.** 2. We aim for reliable uptime but cannot promise uninterrupted, error-free, or lossless operation. 3. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mingful is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. 4. Mingful's aggregate liability in any dispute is capped at the amount you paid the Service in the six (6) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

1. Mingful may warn, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without refund. 2. You may stop using and delete your account at any time.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the **Hong Kong Special Administrative Region**, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the **courts of Hong Kong** in the first instance.

We may update these Terms to reflect regulatory change, product evolution, or operational needs. Material changes will be announced by email. Continued use after the effective date of a change constitutes acceptance.
